Speed UP your PC !
With continuous usage , your computer may/will run slower than before cause of continuously:
Surfing the internet - If we do not clean the cookies/history/temporary files that are downloaded automatically in your PC while surfing websites.
Installing random applications - some of them(adwares) during installation offer toolbars which if installed can slow down the browser , some of them are automatically set to autostart while the PC is booting up and can slow down the PC while logging on windows , new services may appear to work at the background which may require some extra resources from your computer(CPU - Processor , RAM - Random Access Memory).
Installing/Uninstalling applications - while installing uninstalling applications/files , our hard disk creates fragments(memory blocks) which can slow down the hard disk while opening(reading) the same.
Malware - any malicious piece of programs (viruses,worms,trojans...etc) can slow down the PC.
Otherwise there are many reasons to be considered that can slow down our PC , but these are the most common.
These steps will speed up your computer for sure:

Step 1.Firstly we have to check if our PC is infected by any kind of malware :
- Download and install Malwarebytes .
- Launch and update it
- 'Perform a full scan'(of course this is slower than quick scan but it is more effective) , you can perform a quick scan ONLY if you are sure that your computer isn't infected.
- Once fully scanned , if threats have been detected it will pop up a small window saying that threats have been detected and if you are not infected it will say that no malicious threats were detected(so you can ignore this step).
- Click on 'OK' or 'CLOSE' button then click on 'Show results'(it will show you the list of detected/infected files) , select all the check boxes and click on the 'Remove selected'.
- After cleaning the infected files it require to restart your computer so click on YES to fully disinfect your computer.
This step will help you to clean your computer from viruses. (Note: exists more complex viruses which cannot be deleted easily , if that's the case then don't worry i'll post another post that will help you with that. )

Step 2. Download and install Ccleaner - this application will help you delete cookies, history, temporary files.
- Once installed , launch it , select the 'application' tab , check all the checkboxes , click on 'analyze' button , once done analyzing click on 'run cleaner'(Note: This will delete all the history from your browser , visited sites etc...)
Image example:

Unneeded files have been removed.
If you have many applications installed , click on the 'tools' icon then click on startup button , there you can see all the applications which autostart together with windows on logon. Try disabling some unneeded.(Note: If you are unsure which one to disable , it would be better to ignore this because you may disable an important entry (like drivers) that require some programs/components to work properly. If something isn't working properly after disabling some apps then go back to the autorun option and re enable the disabled ones.)

Step 3. Uninstalling some unnecessary programs(like toolbars, smiley packs for messengers...etc) can speed up your computer as well!
- Download Revo uninstaller Install and launch it.
- Once launched it will show you a list with all the installed applications in your computer(Note: This uninstaller uninstalls applications including their registry and other mutual files which is better than the default one that's built in windows !)
- If u find an unnecessary application , just right-click on the icon and click on uninstall.
- First off it will begin with the default uninstalling method , once uninstalled select the advanced option and click on 'scan' button(this will search for leftovers of the application that are left by the default uninstalling methid)
- Once finished searching for leftovers it will show you a list with some files from the application that are still in the computer , click the 'select all' button then the 'delete' button then next so it will uninstall the application completely.(if another list is displayed then click the select all button then the delete button again)
eXtra: More extensions/addons installed on your browser is cool but keep in mind that every extension requires some extra resources from your computer which can slow down the browsing , so keep only the important ones. You can disable the not-so important/unnecessary ones. (Navigation -Chrome: Wrench/right corner above>tools>extensions | Firefox: Options>addons)

Step 4. Download and install Auslogics disk defrag.
- Launch it , select all the checkboxes(if you have any USB flash drive plugged , unplug it), click on the 'Defrag' button then on 'Defrag & Optimize'.
example:

This will defragment and optimize the data into your hard disk.

Step 5. Disabling some visual effects can also speed up your PC:
Navigation:'Right-click on 'My Computer' , Select 'Advanced system settings' and on 'settings' button under performance field.(on Windows XP: Right-click on my computer , select the 'Advanced' tab and click on the first'settings' button)

If the performance is more important to you then uncheck all the checkboxes except the last 3. Click on Apply and Ok.
These Effects may give a more stylish look of the interface and similar but they also require some extra resources from your PC.

That's it , this will refresh your computer for sure. After some time you can repeat the same steps to keep your computer clean.
Hope this helped.
Good Luck! : )
